  1. The list is in incredible detail and easy to read. I had no idea there was so much worthwhile music in South Florida. Thank you for your time and effort. And, as a Broward Count resident, please don’t separate the list as I still enjoy driving to Miami.

  2. Great site. A lot of helpful information here. I’m sending it to
some buddies ans additionally sharing in delicious.
And naturally, thanks to your sweat!

  3. Excellent blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you
knew of any message boards that cover the same topics discussed here?
I’d really like to be a part of online community where I can get responses from other knowledgeable individuals that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Many thanks!

    1. I communicate with many of the musicians to get their gigs via their Facebook pages. There are many FB groups that cover jazz — some more narrowly than others (for example: “on the slide” is for trombonists, but “entertainment in South Florida” covers the waterfront. I don’t really work with message boards so I’m not sure if this will be any help. I notice that you don’t even have a picture of who you are and your email address is unique. This will make you untrustworthy to some. You should put a picture on there. Good luck!

      1. Hi Jeannette,
I’m a trombonist with the Dennis Noday/Lee Harris Super Band, I’ve been asked to publicize our upcoming engagement at the Boca Black Box Theatre January 27 from 8:00 -10:00pm.
I don’t know how much you know about this band (we just recently started up) but it is a safe bet that you know almost everybody in the band.

        The address is:

        8221 Glades Road #10
        Boca Raton FL 33434
        info: 561-483-9036

I don’t have any experience doing this but everybody else in the band is HOPELESS when it comes to this. I’m sure Dennis would be happy to tell you all about it. You can reach him at (954) 292-9454.

How do we get this posted on your jazz list?

Thanks for all you do for jazz.

    1. Thanks Sienna! So great that you “found” me and the South Florida Jazz List. Tell all your friends about it so that we can keep live jazz going! All the best!

  4. I have to thank you for the efforts you’ve put in writing this website.
I’m hoping to see the same high-grade content by you
in the future as well. In fact, your creative
writing abilities has inspired me to get my own, personal blog now 😉

  5. Normally I don’t learn article on blogs, but I would like to say that this
write-up very compelled me to take a look at and do so!
Your writing style has been surprised me.
    Thank you, very great post.

  6. Great List – Some of these artists may even be a great addition to Williams Island Entertainment. I will be in touch.
