‘Emmet’s Place in Miami” is a fabulous concert to  fundraise money for the Frost School of Music’s Jazz Studies Guest Artist/Mentor Fund. Emmet Cohen will be joined by Herlin Riley on drumsPatrick Bartley on saxtrumpeter Sean Jones, French jazz singer Cyrille Aimee, Dean of the Frost School of Music Shelly Berg, drummer Kyle Poole, and bassist Phil Norris. This amazing, intimate night of jazz will take place in the new and beautiful Newman Recital Hall, a state-of-the-art 200-seat hall anchored by a large picture window overlooking Lake Osceola on the University of Miami campus. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. and doors to the concert hall will open at 7:30 p.m. Each ticket includes a complimentary charcuterie display. Wine will be for sale before the concert, so join us early to get this jazz soirée started.
