Tal Cohen in ‘Songs from an Israeli Household’ at Arts Garage (Delray Beach)

The Tal Cohen Trio featuring Tal on baby grand, David Chiverton on drums, and Dion Kerr on bass,  will be playing a special concert tonight entitle, “Songs from an Israeli Household.’ After performing all around the world The Tal Cohen Trio presents a new set of music at Arts Garage influenced by Cohen’s childhood growing up in Israel before starting his travels around the world. Expect infectious grooves meeting traditional Israeli folk music and traditional jazz meeting traditional Klezmer music.

Tal Cohen is a Grammy Award winning jazz pianist currently located in Miami. He has received much acclaim during his young career including winning the Barry Harris National Piano Competition and was the recipient of the prestigious Freedman Fellowship performed to a sold out crowd at the Sydney Opera House. His most recent album- “Gentle Giants” has received international acclaim including a 4 star review from the historic Downbeat Magazine.

ABOUT ARTS GARAGE: The Arts Garage in Delray Beach is a very unique venue with 8 person table seating, an excellent sound system, and GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. Adult beverages are available for purchase (A menu is available at https://artsgarage.org/bar-menu/) and you bring your own munchies! Please purchase all your beverages (including water) at Arts Garage (which also helps defray Arts Garage costs). All COVID protocols are followed. There is parking directly above the venue ($5 event parking) but it fills up quickly so come early and sample the many restaurants and eateries around Arts Garage in the Delray Pineapple Grove before or after the show!
