Eddy Balzola, Cuban born Composer and Guitarist is a talented solo performer as well as bandleader of his long-standing Latin Jazz band “ORIENTE!” Eddy’s roots and travels have inspired his bluesy jazz and soul sound – rhythmic, colorful and melodic, seasoned with Afro-Cuban and Caribbean rhythms. A favorite of The Sunshine Jazz Organization, Eddy befriended Chief Rivers and was inspired by her life stories. He composed and recorded a lovely tribute song titled “Overtown Redemption, Dear Sandrell”, found on his album entitled “ORIENTE Soul en Clave”.
