Enjoy an evening of live music at Sandrell Rivers Theater on Friday, August 11 when multi-talented singer/songwriter Leesa Richards takes to the stage as part of the Sunshine Jazz Organization’s Monthly Concert Series.

A Detroit native, Leesa Richards started her career as a dancer on a world tour with the legendary Whitney Houston. Soon after she combined her love for music and dance, for the role of Mary Magdalene in the national tour of the Broadway musical, Jesus Christ Superstar. Richards earned critical acclaim leading to featured performances throughout the US and Europe.  Richards has performed and/or recorded with some of music’s biggest voices that include Barbara Streisand, Lenny Kravitz, Faith Hill, The Bee Gees, Gloria Estefan and Carole King.
