Every Tuesday at 11am it’s the FIU Music Hour.  We invite you to be part of our LIVE audience for this FREE Concert at the WDNA RADIO studios, located 2921 CORAL WAY, Miami. Please arrive before 10:45 so that you can be seated. Can’t make it? No problem! Listen to The FIU Music Hour on WDNA 88.9FM, wdna.org, and on YouTube Livestreamed! This week the FIU Music Hour welcomes Earth Code, an original fusion-jazz, funk, world music trio formed by keyboardist/composer Tom Alexander and drummer Tommy G. Lee. Bassist Rob Sherber rounds out the band, and Brazilian guitar wizard Tomati often joins them for live performances. While inspired by fusion-jazz luminaries like Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Weather Report, John McLaughlin, Pat Metheny and others, Earth Code has their own distinct sound blending global rhythms with rich sonic textures, lockstep grooves and soaring melodies. Best parking is south of Coral Way in the residential area. Please Note: Do NOT park on neighbors’ lawns or in the Big Lots parking lot. We ask that you leave the spaces in the small parking lot for the musicians and WDNA employees. Thanks! (LiveStream and LIVE Miami)
