We’re thrilled to announce that Sammy Figueroa’s tribute to the great Cal Tjader — which was a big hit recently at Judson’s Live in Orlando — is coming to the Faena Theater in Miami Beach on October 15th (THE NEW DATE)! Sammy will be be joined by Felipe Fournier on vibes, Tal Cohen on piano, Reinier Guerra on timbales, August Conti on bass and Sammy Figueroa on congas! This time, we’re adding a multimedia twist with rare footage of Cal Tjader performing in the 1950s at the Playboy Mansion and on the Ed Sullivan Show, plus archival photos! Come cool off from Miami’s summer heat with a tropical drink and some tropical jazz at the gorgeous (and air-conditioned!) Faena Theater! Tickets are $65-$225 here: https://faenatheater.com/sammy-figueroa Valet parking is available for 0-4 hours at $52, and 4+ hours at $65. We like masks if you do. (Miami Beach)
