The Ben Beal Quartet is this week’s FREE Concert at Lummus Park. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.
Since moving to Miami nine years ago from Westwood, MA, Ben Beal has become one of the South Florida’s most in demand vocalists and pianists. His sound is reminiscent of Harry Connick, Nat Cole, Chet Baker, and Mel Torme. He has a deep knowledge and love of the Great American Songbook and brings his own signature flair to this classic style. The concert takes place between 14th and 14th Place. The series, organized by the Ocean Drive Association, includes a variety of performers such as jazz, pop, and classical ensembles, with a rain location inside The Betsy Hotel. The Betsy Hotel offers valet parking for $46. You can also find parking for Lummus Park by using nearby public garages on Collins and Washington Avenues, such as the ones at 420 16th St. or 555 Washington Ave. FREE CONCERT. We like masks if you do. (Miami Beach)
