Davis and Dow have been performing and touring together for 30 years, blending jazz, Brazilian, and pop standards. Julie Davis’s voice, often compared to Ella Fitzgerald, and Kelly Dow’s orchestral 7-string guitar create a unique sound with twists like Bossa Nova sung in French or a swinging standard with a Bach interlude. Area Stage joins Power Access at the South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series for an unforgettable evening, celebrating diversity through the universal language of music. For 35 years, Area Stage has been a beacon of artistic excellence, offering professional productions and top-notch educational programs to the community. Our standout initiative, the Inclusion Theatre Project, provides unique and transformative training for neurodiverse individuals of all ages, making theater accessible to everyone. The event is FREE, but please RSVP here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/area-stage-davis-and-dow-tickets-943765747757?aff=oddtdtcreator&mc_cid=a940b2ae31&mc_eid=e882f69a6f Paid parking in lot nearby.
